Something akin to this screenshot. A summary:
- The height of the torrent row is just enough for one line
of text
- The progress bar is dimmed and behind the
text.
- Show a smaller icon (the screenshot doesn't have them
because it's the web-ui, I'm sorry I couldn't find a screenshot of
the standalone version.)
- Show the status aligned on the right, if the torrent is
active show only the speed instead.
- Rightmost, keep the actions icons.
In combination with Enhanced filter bar it is a very useful functionality if you have a good number of torrents.

I'm thinking about rewriting of UI. Current approach (transmission and Nativa) is not very good

Are you thinking of something completely different from the Transmission model?
I do like the Transmission model actually.
I posted the two tickets about a compact view mode and an enhanced filter bar because those are the only two features I miss from how I use ruTorrent.

yes, I'm thinking about redone - something like twitterific or sparrow or
Tweetie. I think, that torrent client should have minimalistic interface. -

I agree: the more minimalistic the better.
As long as it has an option to filter torrents by activity, trackers and labels at the same time I will be very happy.
Do you have mashup image? It would be nice to see.

hehehe… I just realized the conversation got completely deranged from the purpose of this ticket!
Since a complete rewrite will take time, and you don't have much free time at hand right now, would you be a dear and add just the Active tab to the filter bar? It should show both Uploading and Downloading torrents.
It shouldn't take too much time to add just that one filter together with the now present All, Downloading, Seeding, Paused.

Would love this, it's unfortunate you don't have much time(school I'd guess!). Really makes me wish I knew anything at all about programming so I could offer up some commits.
Is there any easy way to bring Nativa back to the way it looked pre 0.4.6?
